Tom Milton RIP

I was so sorry to hear that Tom Milton passed away on the climb up the backside of Hamilton on Saturday. We rode together for around 10 miles on Mines road and he encouraged me to appreciate the gorgeous weather and being out in wide open spaces on your bike.  He took my mind off my cramping issues and the punishment my friend was dishing out on me. I dont think I have ever ridden with a rider that was at more peace with what he was doing and happier to be out on his bike doing what he loved.

I never really new him, although I had read lots about him on the internet, but his positive attitude and bright gold shiny hubs reflecting the gorgeous April sunshine will remain with me forever.
