Recovery Ride on the Trike

My lungs took a real beating in the Calveras TT yesterday and I still could feel some serious congestion in them. I was planning on doing a speed session on the Altamont on the trike but I felt I would be better off with a recovery session on the Cross Road CCT.   Actually felt good straight away on the trike which is unusual when I have been only riding my regular bikes all week. I normally find it quite hard to swap between them. I pushed the pace up the Greenville climb and got into some serious breathing difficulties so I backed off for the rest of the ride. My lungs felt fine unless I pushed past 150bpm (Strange !!). It was really windy out there, especially coming down Patterson Pass where I nearly ran over a  rattlesnake.
