Altamont – Tesla Loop (Jake The Snake)

The weather forecast for today was horrendous but Sandra and myself managed to get in a 3 hour ride without any rain. The wind was certainly strange and seemed to change direction as you crossed the ridge of Livermore hills.  We had a tail wind up past Carnegie but as soon as we crested the climb it turned into a strong headwind.

It was a pretty hard day for wind and I felt like we were battling into it more often than not. I rode pretty hard up the Corral Hollow Climb and Cross road but otherwise I kept things pretty steady. I think I have come down with a cold.
