When I got up this morning my legs were still a bit sore from Tuesday which was strange. The weather was really cold and foggy so I dressed up like the last turkey in the shop and headed out to join the Cycletrons Patterson Pass ride. The weather put everyone off so the ride was changed to Del Valle instead to go with the B group. The pace was very sedate until we got onto Tesla where things hotted up. On the climb up Del Valle most people seemed to be content to ride up steady but me and two others rode up at a good tempo. I really overheated on the climb but felt OK.
On the way back the pace hotted up a bit on the run back to Tesla and I did a hard pull on the front as a lead out for the sprint. I didnt feel like contesting it but still got some good TT training in. The ride home from there was into a bitterly cold headwind and fog which was no fun.
